Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup of vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream, for topping
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

In a separate bowl, whisk the beaten eggs. Gradually whisk in 1/4 cup of the hot milk mixture.

Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan, whisking constantly. Cook over medium heat for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Layer the sliced bananas and vanilla wafers in serving dishes. Pour the pudding mixture over the bananas and wafers.
