How To Make Sticky Orange & Marsala Pudding

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup marsala wine
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Then add in the milk, marsala wine, orange zest, orange juice, and melted butter. Mix well.

  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
