How To Make Sweet Honey Muffins

Sweet and simple, these honey muffins are great as a dessert or as a breakfast. These melt-in-your-mouth treats are perfectly light and fluffy.

  • 2cupsall purpose flour
  • ½cupsugar
  • 3tspbaking powder
  • ½tspsalt
  • 1egg
  • 1cupmilk
  • ¼cupmilk
  • ¼cupbutter,melted
  • ¼cupagave,or honey


  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine egg, milk, butter and agave. Stir wet ingredients into dry and mix just until moistened.

  2. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden and baked through.

  3. Cool 5 minutes then remove to a wire rack. Serve warm.
