How To Make No-Boil Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
Ten minutes is all you need to prep these mashed potatoes, made with sour cream and milk, slow-cooked into a smooth and flavorful side.

- 5lbspotatoes,red, yellow or white
- ¾cupchicken broth
- ½tsponion powder
- ½tspgarlic powder
- ¼cupbutter
- ¼cupsour cream
- 1tbspfresh parsley
- 2tbspcream cheese,optional
- salt & pepper,to taste
- milk,or cream, to taste
Instructions

Peel potatoes and cut into chunks.

Place potatoes, broth, garlic powder, and onion powder into a 4-quart slow cooker.

Cook on High 3 to 4 hours or Low 6 to 7 hours, stirring every hour or so or until tender.

Using a hand masher, mash potatoes until smooth. Stir in butter, sour cream, parsley, and cream cheese if using. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve or keep on warm until serving.
