Mashed potatoes have a creamy texture that goes hand-in-hand with a sweet, buttery flavor. Enhance the flavor of mashed potato by using a slow cooker.

  • 5lbsyukon potatoespeeled and cut into 2″ chunks
  • 1cupvegetable broth
  • 1tspkosher salt
  • ½tspwhite pepper
  • 3clovesgarlicminced
  • cupbutter
  • ½cupsour cream
  • parsleyoptional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the potatoes, broth, salt, and pepper to a 3-quart slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours.

  2. Add in the garlic, butter and sour cream.

  3. Mash with a potato masher or hand mixer and garnish with parsley if desired.
