How To Make Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Whipping up these garlic mashed potatoes is as easy as 1-2-3! It’s simple, creamy, and makes the perfect side dish for any filling meal.

- 3lbsred potatoes
- 3garlic cloves
- 4tbspunsalted butter
- ½cupswhole milk
- 1tspkosher salt
- ¼tspground black pepper,coarse
Instructions

Scrub the potatoes clean, then cut them into quarters. Keep the potatoes unpeeled.

Crush the garlic by putting it on a cutting board, then using the flat of a knife, crush the garlic.

Place the potatoes and garlic into a large stockpot covered with water by about 2 inches.

Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until fork tender.

Drain the water well, then add in the butter, milk, salt and pepper.

Mash well with a potato masher for 3 to 5 minutes until creamy.
