How To Make Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes
Make some creamy mashed potatoes for dinner tonight with this easy-to-follow recipe! It’s got a mild and sweet taste from the cream cheese for a rich side.

Ingredients
- 4lbsRusset potatoes,peeled, cut into quarters
- ¼cupbutter
- 1½tspgarlic,minced
- 8ozcream cheese,cut into cubes
- 1cupmilk
- 1½tspsalt
- ½tsppepper
- 2tbspparsley,chopped, or sliced chives
- butter,additional for garnish, optional
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes, and cook for 20 minutes or until tender.

Drain the potatoes, then add them back to the pot.

Place the butter and garlic in a small bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until the butter is melted.

Add the melted garlic butter, cream cheese and milk to the pot of potatoes.

Mash the potatoes until they’re smooth and creamy. Stir in the salt and pepper.

Sprinkle with parsley, garnish with additional butter, serve, and enjoy!
