How To Make Asian Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: sliced cucumber, sliced red onion, sriracha mayo

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, grated ginger, breadcrumbs, cilantro, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.

  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.

  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  4. Toast the burger buns.

  5. Serve the turkey burgers on the toasted buns and garnish with your favorite toppings.
