How To Make Turkey Moist Maker Sandwich

Make Ross Geller’s moist maker sandwich from the iconic Friends episode! It’s the one with gravy-soaked bread, turkey, and cranberry sauce.

Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 40 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4tbspbutter
  • ¼cupflour
  • 2cupsturkey broth,leftover from slow cooker, or chicken stock
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper,to taste
  • 12slicesslow cooker crispy turkey breast
  • 12slicessandwich bread,toasted
  • ½cupmayonnaise
  • 8sliceslettuce
  • 8slicestomato
  • 2cupsstuffing
  • 1cupcranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Add the butter and flour together in a pan and stir until browned.

  2. Add in the stock and whisk for 3 to 5 minutes until combined and thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.

To Assemble:

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise to 2 slices of bread.

  2. Top with two leaves of lettuce.

  3. Add ½ cup of stuffing on top of the lettuce.

  4. Add two slices of tomato on top of the stuffing.

  5. Dip a slice of bread with no mayo on it into the gravy and put on top of the tomato.

  6. Add 3 slices of turkey breast.

  7. Add ¼ cup cranberry sauce and top with the final piece of bread with mayonnaise on it.
