How To Make Orange Glazed Meatballs and Veggies

These orange glazed meatballs are made with a citrusy mix of marmalade, vinegar, and sesame oil, served alongside tender vegetables, for a full meal!

  • ½cupbroccoli
  • 1carrot
  • ¼onion
  • olive oil
  • salt,to taste
  • pepper,to taste

For Meatball:

  • 1lbground turkey,or ground chicken
  • 1egg
  • ¼cuppanko breadcrumbs
  • 2garlic cloves,minced
  • 2tspginger,grated
  • 2tbspgreen onion
  • 2tbspsoy sauce
  • salt,to taste
  • pepper,to taste

For Sauce:

  • ¾cuporange marmalade
  • ¼cuprice vinegar
  • 1tspsesame oil
  • 1garlic clove,minced
  • 1tspginger,minced
  • 1tspsalt
  • ½tsppepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F.

  2. In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, ginger, green onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until incorporated.

  3. Using hands or a spoon, roll a bit of the meat mixture in between hands until a meatball is formed.

  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Next to the meatballs, spread assorted veggies and lightly with drizzle oil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through and vegetables are soft.

  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the orange marmalade, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir the orange sauce until well combined.

  7. Microwave for about 1 minute, stirring at 30 seconds.

  8. Put the vegetables and meatballs over a bowl of rice and pour the sauce as desired. Enjoy!
