How To Make Roasted Broccoli Rabe with Garlic

Our easy-to-make roasted broccoli rabe spiced with garlic and crushed red pepper flakes is an ideal side dish you can serve at any time of the day!

Ingredients

  • 1bunchbroccoli rabe,(rapini), tough stems removed
  • 4clovesgarlic,crushed
  • 2tbspolive oil
  • salt and pepper,to taste
  • red pepper flakes,crushed, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  3. When the water boils, add the broccoli rabe and blanch for 1 minute.

  4. Remove from water and drain well using a colander.

  5. Place the broccoli rabe in a baking dish and mix with garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper, and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.

  6. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes.
