Ingredients
- 3lbsbeef chuck roast,boneless
- 1tspkosher salt
- 1tspcoarse ground black pepper
- 1largeyellow onion,diced
- 1green bell pepper,cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1red bell pepper,cut into 1-inch chunks
- 20pepperonis
- 24ozmarinara sauce
- 1tsporegano,dried
- 1tspbasil,dried
- 2cupsbeef broth
- 1tbspWorcestershire sauce
Instructions

Season beef with salt and pepper, then add to a large dutch oven with oil on medium-high heat.

Cook for 6 to 8 minutes on both sides until seared well.

Remove the beef from the pot and add in the onions.

Sauté for about 3 to 4 minutes until translucent and lightly browned.

Add in the green and red bell peppers, pepperonis, marinara sauce, seasonings, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce and stir well.

Add the beef back to the pot, cover, and cook for 3 hours.
