How To Make Fantastic Roast Parsley Chicken

Simply a wonderful way to roast chicken. This herbed roasted chicken would surely leave your mouth watering even before it gets out of the oven! A fantastically juicy and tender roast dish with a refreshing taste of parsley deeply infused in the meat.

  • 1 whole chicken (3-4 lb)
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 medium onion (quartered)
  • 6 tbsp butter (melted)
  • ½ cup water
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Place the parsley, onion, half of the butter and seasonings in the cavity of the chicken.
  3. Brush the remaining butter onto the bird.
  4. Place in a baking pan and cook for 7 minutes.
  5. Add the water to the pan and reduce the heat to 375 degrees F.
  6. Roast for 20 minutes a pound plus 20 minutes (for example: a 4-pound chicken would cook for 1 and 40 minutes).
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
  8. Serve warm.

Ingredients
