How To Make Bottom Round Roast with Onion Gravy

Ingredients
- 2 lbs bottom round roast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

Season the bottom round roast with salt and black pepper on all sides.

In a large oven-safe pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Sear the roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove the roast from the pot and set aside.

Add the sliced onions and minced garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the flour and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Gradually pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

Return the roast to the pot and cover with the onion gravy.

Cover the pot with a lid and transfer to the preheated oven.

Roast for about 2 hours, or until the roast reaches your desired level of doneness.

Remove the roast from the pot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
