How To Make Glazed Brown Sugar Meatloaf
This moist brown sugar meatloaf makes the tastiest dinner meal. A new take on the classic meatloaf that will have you coming back for seconds!
Serves:
Ingredients
- ¼cupbrown sugar,packed
- 1tspWorcestershire sauce
- ½cupketchup
- 1½lbsground beef
- ½cupmilk
- 1large eggs
- 1tspkosher salt
- ¼tspground black pepper
- 1small yellow onion,chopped finely
- ¼tspground ginger
- ¾cupsaltine cracker crumbs,finely crushed
- 2sandwich bread slices,any variety, for soaking up fat
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Lay the two pieces of sandwich bread onto a baking pan.

In a large bowl, mix the beef, milk, egg, salt, pepper, onion, ginger, and saltines.

Shape the mixture into a loaf on top of the bread.

Bake for 45 minutes.

In a small bowl, add and mix the brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire Sauce.

Glaze the meatloaf with the brown sugar mix, then cook for 15 minutes. Cook potatoes or other vegetables on the side, or line the other half of the tray with foil to prevent any grease from coming over to the vegetables.

Discard the bread slices, then let the meat rest for 10 minutes.
