How To Make A Luxury Meatloaf
A delicious and luxurious meatloaf recipe made from fine ground beef, cheese, herbs and sauces. It’s the top-tier of all meatloafs in terms of flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, large, chopped
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- ¼ cup pimientos, chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, deseeded and minced
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup yogurt, plain
- 2 egg, large, slightly beaten
- ¼ cup ketchup, or chili sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the mushrooms, onion, pimientos, jalapeno pepper, garlic, oregano, and thyme. Sauté for about 6 minutes, then transfer to a large bowl.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and using clean hands, mix thoroughly.
- Place the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and then place them onto a baking sheet to catch any spills.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before serving with your choice of sauce and sides.
