  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, caramelized onions, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

  5. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
