How To Make Maple & Mustard Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 (4-pound) bone-in ham
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface with a knife in a crisscross pattern.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and pepper.

  4. Brush the glaze mixture evenly over the ham, making sure to get it into the scored cuts.

  5. Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for 1 hour.

  6. Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the pan juices.

  7. Increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the ham is nicely browned and glazed.

  8. Remove from the oven and let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

  9. Serve the Maple & Mustard Glazed Ham warm and enjoy!
