
How To Make Slow-Cooker Ham Hock Stew

Ingredients
- 2 ham hocks
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tsp of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a slow cooker, add ham hocks, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaves, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Cover and cook for 8 hours on low heat.

Once the ham hocks are cooked, remove from the slow cooker and shred the meat.

Return shredded meat to the slow cooker and discard the skin and bones.

Serve hot, garnish with fresh parsley.
