How To Make Deviled Ham Salad on Marbled Rye Bread

Deliciously smoked ham, crispy alfalfa sprouts, and a jalapeno-mustard sauce makes up this delicious ham salad, all served on rye bread for a filling meal!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • ½lbsmoked ham
  • ½cupmayonnaise
  • 1jalapeño
  • 1tbspdijon mustard
  • ½tspsweet paprika
  • hot sauce,for seasoning
  • salt,for seasoning
  • 8marbled rye bread slices,bakery style
  • 1½cupsalfalfa sprouts

Instructions

  1. Put the ham in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.

  2. Transfer the ham to a medium bowl. Stir in the mayonnaise, jalapeño, mustard, and paprika and season the deviled ham salad with hot sauce and salt.

  3. Lay half of the bread slices on a work surface and spread them with the deviled ham. Top with the sprouts and close the sandwiches.

  4. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  •  If making larger sandwiches, quarter them before serving.
  •  Make Ahead: The deviled ham can be refrigerated overnight.
