How To Make Chocolate Nut Chews

These decadent Chocolate Nut Chews is a fun, chocolatey treat you can easily make. A creamy dollop of peanut butter combined with milk, sugar, and cocoa powder gives off a velvety coating. The oats and salted peanuts are mixed in the smooth, chewy candy for a yummy surprise!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • cup butter
  • cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cup quick rolled oats, uncooked
  • ½ cup salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan, mix in the sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter.

  2. Stir over medium heat until mixture bubbles all over the top.

  3. Let it boil and stir for 2 minutes more. Then, remove from heat.

  4. Stir in the peanut butter until it melts.

  5. Add the vanilla extract, quick rolled oats, and nuts. Stir until well-combined.

  6. Drop the mixture by tablespoons onto waxed paper.

  7. Let stand for 20 minutes until set.

  8. Peel off of the wax paper and chew on these decadent Chocolate Nut Chews!
