How To Make Hot Cocoa Brownies with Marshmallows
Turn a comforting drink into a rich dessert with these hot cocoa brownies. This fudgy dessert is made with cocoa mix and marshmallows for tastier treats.

- 1¼cupsshortening
- 4ozunsweetened baking chocolate,(4 squares), such as Baker’s®
- 2.2ozhot cocoa mix,(4 packages)
- 2cupswhite sugar
- 4eggs
- 1cupall purpose flour
- 2cupsminiature marshmallows
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Place the shortening and chocolate squares in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir frequently for about 5 minutes, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat.

Stir the cocoa mix into the melted chocolate. Mix in the sugar and eggs.

Add the flour slowly and mix thoroughly. Mix in the marshmallows. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool.
