How To Make Italian Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 5largesun tomato tortillas,(10 inch), dried
  • 1pkgfull fat cream cheese,(8 oz)
  • 1tbspItalian seasoning
  • 2red bell peppers,roasted
  • ½cuppepperoncini
  • 20slicespepperoni
  • 15slicesdeli ham
  • 15slicessalami,thinly sliced
  • 12slicesprovolone cheese
  • 5largepieces romaine lettuce
  • 2largeroma tomatoes,thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly dry and then coarsely chop the roasted red peppers and pepperoncini

  2. Combine the cream cheese and Italian seasoning in a bowl and beat until smooth and creamy. Stir in the chopped peppers and pepperoncini until smooth.

  3. Smooth about 3 tablespoons of this mixture all over each tortilla.

  4. Now layer ingredients evenly across the tortilla in a horizontal line in this order: pepperoni, ham, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes

  5. Roll the pinwheel into a tight cylinder, starting at the end with the filling. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to firm up for one hour.

  6. Use a very sharp knife to slice the pinwheels into 1 inch slices.

  7. Enjoy after being cut!
