How To Make Pressed Pepperoni Pizza Party Rolls

Tender Hawaiian rolls are filled with pepperoni and cheese to make these delicious party rolls that are served alongside a marinara dipping sauce.

  • 16Hawaiian bread rolls
  • ¼cupmayonnaise
  • 1cupmozzarella cheese,shredded
  • 4ozsliced pepperoni
  • 4tbspbutter,melted
  • ¼tspItalian seasoning
  • 1pinchcrushed red pepper
  • marinara sauce,for dipping


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F with an oven-safe pan or plate for pressing.

  2. Cut the rolls through the middle to make them into buns (but cut through it in one sheet without pulling them apart).

  3. Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom layer of the bread and put the bread into an 8×8-inch metal square pan.

  4. Layer the pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese.

  5. Put the bread on top to close the sandwiches.

  6. Add the crushed red pepper and Italian seasoning to the melted butter and brush it over the tops of the sandwiches.

  7. Press a second baking pan or heavy dish over the top of the sandwiches and press down with just a bit of force.

  8. Bake covered for 10 minutes, take foil off and cook an additional 2 minutes.

  9. Cut into 16 small sandwiches.
