How To Make Roasted and Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Don’t let your pumpkin seeds go to waste by making a healthy snack out of them! This recipe tosses them with salt and chili powder for a savory-spicy snack.

  • 1cuppumpkin seeds
  • ½tspsalt
  • ¼tspchili powder,optional


  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. Spread the seeds in an even layer on the baking sheet, and bake for 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Wear potholders to take the sheet out of the oven, and then use the spatula to help slide the roasted seeds into the serving bowl. Toss the seeds with salt and chili powder.

  4. Serve warm, and enjoy!
