How To Make Christmas Chow

Enjoy a sweet snack in this Christmas chow recipe that makes a milk chocolate and peanut butter coated rice Chex that’s dusted with powdered sugar.

  • 8cupsrice chex
  • ½cupmilk chocolate chips
  • ½cuppeanut butter
  • ½cupbutter
  • 1tspvanilla
  • 2cupspowdered sugar
  • 1cupHoliday M&Ms


  1. Place Rice Chex in a bowl and set aside.

  2. Also, place powdered sugar in a large ziplock bag.

  3. In a small pot, melt butter, peanut butter, vanilla, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips on low heat until smooth and well combined, stirring the entire time.

  4. Pour melted mixture over Rice Chex and mix well until all the cereal is evenly coated.

  5. Pour this mixture into the bag of powdered sugar and shake until all the cereal is coated.

  6. Spread over waxed paper to cool.

  7. When ready to serve, mix with Holiday M&Ms. Enjoy!
