How To Make Chicken Enchilada Cups

These chicken enchilada cups are flavorful chicken enchilada filling baked inside wonton wrapper cups until crispy on the outside and melty on the inside.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 12 minutes
Total: 27 minutes



  • 24wonton wrappers
  • 3cupscooked chicken,shredded
  • ½cupenchilada sauce,homemade or store bought
  • 1cupMexican cheese,shredded
  • 2green onions,thinly sliced


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Press wonton wrappers into the cups of a mini muffin pan to form cups, being sure that the edges do not fold in. Bake for 7 minutes, then remove.

  3. Meanwhile, stir together chicken and enchilada sauce in a mixing bowl until combined.

  4. Portion the chicken evenly into the baked wonton cups until they are full. Sprinkle with a pinch of shredded cheese.

  5. Then bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the chicken is heated through. Remove and garnish with sliced green onions.
