How To Make Buttered Snack Mix

This delicious snack mix is packed with a medley of flavors and texture, from Chex Mix, to nuts, to pretzels; all tossed in a savory butter seasoning!

Cooking: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total: 1 hour 45 minutes



For Mix:

  • 4cupscorn chex
  • 4cupswheat chex
  • 3cupsrice chex
  • 3cupspretzels,skinny, bite-sized
  • 2cupscheerios
  • cupsalted nuts

For Butter Seasoning:

  • 10tbspunsalted butter,or vegetable oil
  • 3tbspworcestershire sauce
  • 2tspseasoned salt
  • tspgarlic powder
  • ¾tsponion powder
  • ¾tspdried thyme


  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

  2. Combine all of the snack mix ingredients in a large disposable aluminum pan.

  3. Combine all of the butter seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until well combined. Pour slowly over snack mix, stirring to coat evenly. Continue stirring until snack mix is well coated with seasoning.

  4. Bake for 1½ hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
