How To Make Witch Hat Cookies
Delicious and festive cookie treats perfect for Halloween!

Ingredients
- -1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- -1/2 cup granulated sugar
- -1 egg
- -1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- -1/3 cup cocoa powder
- -1 tsp vanilla extract
- -12 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
- -1/2 cup orange candy melts
- -4 tsp vegetable oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.

In a separate bowl, sift together flour and cocoa powder. Gradually add to butter mixture, stirring until well combined.

Roll dough into small 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.

In a medium bowl, melt the orange candy melts and vegetable oil together in the microwave or on top of a double boiler.

Using a spoon, drizzle the melted candy mixture over the Hershey’s Kiss to create the witch hat. Allow to cool and set before serving.
