  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Add the cold butter cubes and use your hands or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).

  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the prepared baking dish.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and crispy.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
