  • 2 cups of old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Dash of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, butter, cocoa powder, and salt.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Add the oats to the saucepan and mix well until all the oats are coated in the chocolate mixture.

  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper or a baking sheet and let them cool and harden for about 30 minutes.
