Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the lamb patties and cook for about 7-8 minutes per side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  4. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns.

  5. Serve the lamb patties on the toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, and onion slices. Enjoy!
