
How To Make Healthy Lamb Meatballs
These baked lamb meatballs are made a little healthier with tender cabbage, and well-seasoned with allspice, turmeric, and cardamom, for a juicy dish.

Ingredients
- 1lbground lamb,or more to taste
- ½cupcabbage,shredded, or more to taste
- â…“cuponion,diced
- 1egg
- 1¼tbspground allspice
- 1tbspground cardamom,fresh
- ¼tspground turmeric
- ¼tspground sumac
- salt and ground black pepper,to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Boil the lamb in a pot of water, breaking into small chunks with a spoon, for 5 to 10 minutes until fully cooked. Skim the fat from the water using a spoon and drain the water from the meat.

Mix the cooked lamb, cabbage, onion, egg, allspice, cardamom, turmeric, sumac, salt, and pepper together in bowl.

Roll the meat into 1½-inch balls. Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet.

Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and browned on the outside.
