How To Make White Chocolate Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½cupall-purpose flour,sifted
  • ½cupgranulated sugar
  • ½tspcinnamon
  • ¼tspbaking powder
  • pinchsalt
  • ½cupold-fashioned oat
  • ¼cupunsalted butter,melted
  • 2tbsp1% milk
  • 2tbsphoney
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 5ozwhite chocolate,melted
  • ¼cupcolored sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with Silpats, then set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and oats. Set aside.

  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the melted butter, milk, honey, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

  4. Slowly add in the dry ingredients, then mix to combine.

  5. Drop 1 level teaspoon of batter onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between, placing only 12 cookies on each sheet.

  6. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven, then let cookies cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Carefully transfer cookies to a wire rack and cool completely.

  8. Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe mug for 30 seconds, stir, then repeat another 30 seconds at a time until the chocolate is melted.

  9. Dip ⅓ of the cookie into the melted chocolate, then into the sprinkles. Place on a tray lined with wax paper to harden.

  10. Serve, and enjoy!
