
How To Make Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

- 1 cup of old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of raisins
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Stir in the raisins.

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
