  • 1cupbutter flavored shortening
  • ¾cupwhite sugar
  • ¾cupbrown sugar,packed
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 2eggs
  • cupsall purpose flour
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • ¼tspsalt
  • 1cupsemisweet chocolate chips
  • 1cupwhite chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. In a medium bowl, cream the shortening, white sugar, and brown sugar together with a wooden spoon. Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix well.

  3. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt, stir into the creamed mixture. Stir in the semi-sweet chips and the white chips, if the batter is too stiff, then use hands to stir.

  4. Drop the cookies by heaping spoonfuls onto unprepared cookie sheets.

  5. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.

  6. Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before removing them to cool on wire racks.

  7. Serve and enjoy.
