How To Make Sweet as Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- ½ tsp of salt
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or your hand.

If desired, sprinkle the cookies with some colorful sprinkles.
