How To Make Snowball Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until well combined.

  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.

  6. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 12 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden.

  8. Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes, then roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.

  9. Place the coated cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.

  10. Once cooled, roll the cookies in powdered sugar again for an extra dusting.

  11. Serve and enjoy!
