
How To Make Sandwich Cookies
Satisfy your sweet tooth craving with these delectable sandwich cookies, made with chocolate cake mix and a buttery cream cheese filling.
Ingredients
- 2 pkg devil's food cake mix, (regular size)
- 1 cup canola oil
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
For Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 2½ cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the cake mixes, oil, and eggs until well blended. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place them 2-inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Do not flatten.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes until set. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks.

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Beat in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread or pipe filling on the bottoms of half of the cookies; top with remaining cookies. Store in the refrigerator.
