How To Make Peppermint Red Velvet Cookies with Kisses
These festive red velvet cookies makes the perfect Christmas presents! It’s got amazing minty flavors from the cookies up to the chocolate kisses.

Ingredients
- 36Hersheys Peppermint Kisses,Hugs or Milk Chocolate Kisses, frozen
- 1½cupsall-purpose flour,plus 2 tbsp
- 2tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
- ½tspbaking soda
- ½tspsalt
- ½cupvegetable oil
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- 1large egg
- 2tspred food coloring
- 1½tspwhite vinegar
- 1tspvanilla extract
- ¾tsppeppermint extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, blend together the vegetable oil and sugar on medium speed for 3 minutes until the mixture is creamy.

Mix in the egg, then add in the food coloring, vinegar, vanilla extract and peppermint extract.

Mix until well blended.

With mixer set on low speed, slowly add in the dry ingredients, then mix just until combined.

Roll dough into balls about 1 scant tablespoon each, then place them on Silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheets.

Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 9 minutes.

Remove from the oven, then allow to cool for 30 seconds.

Lightly press 1 chocolate Kiss onto each cookie, then immediately transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.

Allow the Kisses on the cookies to set at room temperature.
