How To Make Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chewy chocolate chip cookies are given a touch of the holidays in this recipe. The cookies are topped with pieces of peppermint crunch and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • ½cupbutter,softened
  • ½cupoil
  • 1cupbrown sugar
  • 1cupsugar
  • 2eggs
  • 3cupsflour
  • 1tspbaking powder
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • 1tspsalt
  • 1tspvanilla
  • ½tspalmond extract
  • 1bagchristmas chocolate chips
  • 1cupandes peppermint crunch pieces
  • peppermint extract,optional

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, oil and sugars in the mixer.

  2. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.

  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt to a separate bowl and mix well. Add to wet ingredients and mix well.

  4. Add chocolate chips, peppermint crunch pieces, almond extract, and vanilla. Mix well.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 7 to 8 minutes.
