How To Make Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (GrandMa’s Copycat)
Nothing beats the homey aroma of these GrandMa’s-style oatmeal raisin cookies fresh out of the oven! Enjoy these chewy goodies made with raisins and spices.

Ingredients
- 2cupsshortening
- 2cupsbrown sugar
- ½cupwhite sugar
- 4eggs
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 4cupsall-purpose flour
- 1½tspbaking soda
- 1tspsalt
- 2tspground cinnamon
- 1tspground allspice
- 1tspground cloves
- 6cupsrolled oats
- 1cupmilk
- 2cupsraisins
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves; stir into the sugar mixture until well blended. Mix in the rolled oats alternately with the milk.

Finally, stir in the raisins. Drop by heaping spoonfuls 3-inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 11 minutes, or until edges are golden and tops are dry. Cool on cookie sheets for 1 minute before removing to cool on wire racks.
