How To Make Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IX

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix together the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Stir in the raisins.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
