How To Make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Lactation Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons Brewer’s yeast
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and water. Mix well.

Add the eggs and beat until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, flour, Brewer’s yeast, ground flaxseed, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips, raisins, and nuts (if using).

Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
