How To Make Oat and Chocolate Chip Bar Cookies

For these bar cookies, oats and chocolate chips strike up a sweet and fudgy pairing! Whip up a delectably rich batch in just under one hour.

Ingredients

  • 3cupsall purpose flour
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • ½tspsalt
  • 1cupbutter,softened
  • ¾cupwhite sugar
  • ¾cupbrown sugar
  • ¼cupmilk
  • 2eggs
  • 2tspvanilla extract
  • 2cupssemisweet chocolate chips
  • 2cupsrolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking pan.

  2. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a small bowl.

  3. Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  4. Stir in flour mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips and oats. Spread into the prepared baking pan.

  5. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until top is golden brown.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
