How To Make No Bake Chocolate Cookies (Peanut Free)

These no-bake chocolate cookies are nut-free too. Rolled oats and shredded coconut are held together by rich dark chocolate, butter, and milk.

Ingredients

  • 2¾cupsrolled oats
  • 1cupshredded coconut
  • 5tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2cupssugar
  • ½cupbutter
  • ½cupmilk
  • 1tspvanilla

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, coconut & cocoa powder. Set aside.

  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Let boil for 2 minutes (no longer). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  3. Pour oat mixture into the hot margarine mixture and stir until well mixed. Drop by spoonfuls onto a pan and let cool completely.
