How To Make Mummy Cookie Bites

Perfectly spooky and equally tasty, these mummy-shaped cookie bites are cookie-cream cheese balls dipped in melted white chocolate and decorated!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8ozcream cheese,(1 package) softened
  • 36golden Oreo cookies,finely crushed
  • 14ozBaker’s white chocolate
  • mini chocolate chips eyes,plus colored decors, for decorations

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.

  2. Shape into 1-inch balls.

  3. Freeze for 10 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, melt the Baker’s chocolate as directed.

  5. Dip the balls in melted chocolate.

  6. Place in a single layer on the waxed paper-covered rimmed baking sheet. (Re-freeze balls if they become too soft to dip.)

  7. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.

  8. Melt the remaining chocolate as directed on the package, then spoon into a small resealable plastic bag.

  9. Press out excess air from the bag, then seal the bag.

  10. Cut a ⅛-inch piece from 1 bottom corner of the bag.

  11. Squeeze the bag to pipe chocolate onto each ball for the mummy’s eyes.

  12. Immediately add desired decorations for the eyeballs.

  13. Pipe the remaining chocolate onto balls to resemble gauze strips.

  14. Refrigerate until firm.
