  • 1 cup of ground walnuts
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground walnuts, flour, and granulated sugar.

  3. Add the softened butter, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix well until a dough forms.

  4. Take small portions of the dough and shape them into horn-like crescents. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the horns are golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.

  7. Once cooled, dust the horns with powdered sugar.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
