How To Make Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1cupunsalted buttersoftened
  • cupssugar
  • 1tsppeppermint extract
  • 14dropsgreen food coloring
  • 2large eggs
  • cupsflour
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • ¼tspsalt
  • 6ozmilk chocolate chips
  • 6ozAndes mint chocolateschopped

Instructions

  1. Add the butter and sugar to a stand mixer.

  2. Beat on medium high speed until light and fluffy.

  3. Add in the peppermint extract, food coloring and eggs one at a time until fully combined.

  4. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.

  5. Add the flour mixture into the stand mixer on low speed until just combined.

  6. Fold in the mint chocolate and chocolate chips with a spatula.

  7. Refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes.

  8. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  9. Form the dough in rounded tablespoon-sized scoops, and place them onto baking trays.

  10. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

  11. Serve, and enjoy!
