How To Make Magic Samoas Layer Bars

Give in to nostalgia with this recipe for magic samoas. These chewy treats are filled with chocolate and coconut and reminiscent of Girl Scout cookies.

Ingredients

  • ½cupbutter,melted
  • cupsvanilla wafer crumbs
  • 14ozcondensed milk,sweetened
  • 1cupchocolate morsels,semisweet
  • 20caramels,quartered
  • 1⅓cupssweetened coconut,shredded

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13×9-inch baking pan with baking spray.

  2. Combine vanilla wafer crumbs and butter.

  3. Press vanilla wafer mixture into bottom of prepared pan.

  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture.

  5. Layer evenly with chocolate chips, caramels and coconut.

  6. Press down firmly with a fork.

  7. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

  8. Cool completely before cutting and serve at room temperature.
